Loyola Academy is grateful for how deeply our community cares for one another, our students, and our families! We have recently seen a growing number of our families facing unexpected challenges. Changes in employment and rising costs have made this time of year especially difficult for many in our community. Contributions to the Loyola Family Emergency Fund and participation in our Holiday Cheer Program are two meaningful ways to make a difference this holiday season.

Loyola Family Emergency Fund
The Loyola Family Emergency Fund will support families in need of food, uniforms, assistance with household expenses, and basic needs that impact our students’ ability to achieve fully in the academic setting. The Loyola Family Emergency Fund will support families during the holiday season and through the entire year! Through recommendations from our school social worker and our strong relationships with families, this fund will have the potential to meet our students’ greatest needs. Supporting the Loyola Family Emergency Fund can be done online through our donation form or by sending a donation with the fund name “Loyola Family Emergency Fund” noted in the memo.

Holiday Cheer Program
The Holiday Cheer Program will allow families to purchase holiday meals and gifts for their children and family members. Through direct donations of gift cards or items from our Amazon Wish List, our families of the highest need will be able to create strong and lasting holiday traditions of their own! To support the Holiday Cheer Program, items from our Amazon Wish List or gift cards to local grocery stores, Walmart, Target, Amazon, or other local department stores should be received at Loyola Academy by December 12th, 2025. Please feel free to also include donations of new wrapping paper, gift bags, gift tags and bows. If you are interested in participating in our Holiday Cheer program, please contact Ellen Cooper, Director of Development, at ecooper@loyolaacademy.org.
