No, students should work one-on-one with volunteers during Independent Reading and Study Hall. If a student without a volunteer expresses interest, please let our Volunteer Coordinator know and we will do our best to pair him with a volunteer in the future.

Please double check the Homework Tracker at the start of every tutoring session. The Homework Tracker is updated by our teachers daily and includes upcoming homework and tests for all of our classes. If your student has completed all of his work from the Homework Tracker, he may study for an upcoming test, practice skills with flash cards, or read a book. Students are not allowed to play games on their laptop or in the gym after completing their work.

If your student is absent, Loyola Academy will do our best to let you know ahead of time or we will pair you with another student who will benefit from one-on-one support that day.

Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Mary Calzaretta, at volunteer@loyolaacademy.org if you are unable to attend your volunteer session.  For urgent communications, please contact the front office at 314-531-9091.
