Loyola Academy of St. Louis is grateful for the support of the many families, friend groups, and companies which have supported our community through the Christmas Blessings program in recent years. This has been a true gift to many and we cannot thank you enough! As we approach the holiday season and celebrate our continuous growth, we are restructuring our program to support the highest needs of our Loyola families. Loyola Academy is excited for this change and hopes that you too will join us as we take steps to provide our families with resources and gifts that will have the greatest impact this holiday season through our new Loyola Family Emergency Fund or Christmas Cheer Program.
Loyola Family Emergency Fund
The Loyola Family Emergency Fund will support families in need of food, uniforms, assistance with household expenses, and basic needs that impact our students’ ability to achieve fully in the academic setting. The Loyola Family Emergency Fund will support families during the holiday season and through the entire year! Through recommendations from our school social worker and our strong relationships with families, this fund will have the potential to meet our students’ greatest needs. Supporting the Loyola Family Emergency Fund can be done online through our donation form or by sending a donation with the fund name “Loyola Family Emergency Fund” noted in the memo.
Christmas Cheer Program
The Christmas Cheer Program will allow families to purchase holiday meals and gifts for their children and family members. Through direct donations of gift cards, our families of the highest need will be able to create strong and lasting holiday traditions of their own! To support the Christmas Cheer Program, gift cards to local grocery stores, Walmart, Target, Amazon, or other local department stores should be received at Loyola Academy by December 14th, 2024. Please feel free to also include donations of new wrapping paper, gift bags, gift tags and bows. If you are interested in participating in our Christmas Cheer program, please contact Ellen Cooper, Director of Development at [email protected].
