Congratulations to Ms. Kummer for receiving the Ou Congratulations to Ms. Kummer for receiving the Outstanding Beginning Teacher award from Saint Louis University School of Education and the Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education!! 🎉

Ms. Kummer joined the Loyola Academy community as an @alumservicecorps volunteer in 2018. She then earned her Masters of Arts in Teaching from SLU as a member of the @billikenteachercorps . We are so grateful to have her as our religion and physical education teacher!
Today's Catholic Schools Week theme is "Teaching T Today's Catholic Schools Week theme is "Teaching Thursday!" Students dressed up as teachers and led classroom activities across campus.

This weekend our robotics team participated in the This weekend our robotics team participated in the Clavius Project Robotics Jamboree at @sluh ! Students completed a series of challenges to demonstrate their skills and knowledge. We couldn't be prouder of our team and eighth grader who received the highest score possible for creating his own code effectively!

Loyola Academy was also awarded a banner for earning "Gold with Distinction" in 2022.  Congratulations, Knights!!

Mr. Brazzolotto, nSJ will be co-teaching 7th and 8th grade religion class, assisting with campus ministry, serving as the librarian, and more.

This week our 7th grade science class wrapped up t This week our 7th grade science class wrapped up their unit on fossils by making their own plaster casts of lizards, beetles, and more in sand molds!  They then unveiled their simulated fossils by carefully brushing away the top layers with toothbrushes and other tools.
Today our 7th graders participated in the the Card Today our 7th graders participated in the the Cardinals Academy Program!  Students toured Busch Stadium, engaged in curriculum-based activities, and explored the Hall of Fame and Museum.
